The Mission of SOCPM in the classroom will End December 20th 2024

After 15+ years SOCPM will end it’s major focus of bring the Gospel to Dixon and Sheridan Correctional Centers. It is a decision that comes after much prayer, but for reasons to lengthy and personal to detail now, I hope to have a page up in January 2025 with a history of SOCPM and the whys of the closing the gate.


Soldiers of Christ Prison Ministries is a holistic, faith-based, non-denominational ministry connecting incarcerated men and women with partner ministries, churches, community, and private organizations, and individuals to provide discipleship resources, educational resources, and post-prison ministry services.

All are broken and in need of our Savior Jesus Christ but if we are to live lives that bring glory to God, thus allowing us to enjoy Him, we need the Holy Spirit to transform us by the renewing of our hearts and minds. Soldiers of Christ Prison Ministries believe two key areas where the incarcerated need the transforming work of the Holy Spirit are personal discipleship and spiritual leadership of the home.

Soldiers of Christ Prison Ministries is a ministry vessel for the glory of God in pursuit of these transformations is currently teaching two programs in the jails and prisons; Personal Discipleship and Christian Living. SOCPM is also passionate about connecting SOCPM students connected to a church family prior to their parole through Church Connection. As God’s will is revealed and the ministry grows, it is planned to adapt and expand to teach the additional curriculum and provide connections to other resources during and after incarceration.


 
 

Our Mission

Bringing the Gospel to prisoners and providing holistic Discipleship through the teaching of sound theology and doctrine, and connecting prisons to resources for Christian Living during and after incarceration.

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16–17 [ESV])
